On November 21st and 22nd, 2011, in the spirit of Ashura TMA @ UTSC handed out 500 water bottles to students, faculty and staff on campus to spread awarness of the struggles of Imam Hussein (AS).
The TMA executive would once again like to sincerely thank all the volunteers for the support. May Allah (s.w.t) bless you all for your efforts.

On November 17th, 2011, TMA @ UTSC volunteers got together and prepared the 500 bottles that were to be given out. The executive team would like to sincerely thank everyone for their help and support. May Allah (s.w.t) bless you for all your hard work!

In the spirit of Ashura, TMA @ UTSC will be handing out water bottles to students on campus to spread awarness of the struggles of Imam Hussein (AS).
If we were there with him during the Ashura, we would want nothing more than to share water with him, his family, and companions. Symbollicaly, we will share water with our peers on campus out of our love for Ahlul Bayt.
We hope to raise awareness amongst Muslims and non-Muslims alike about the struggles of Imam Hussein (AS) during this time.
Please come by the student centre Monday November 21st to show us your support, we will be selling TMA memberships as well.
