Introduction to Islamic Sciences
June 2 @ 11:30 am - August 18 @ 1:00 pm
With the grace of God, a summer intensive course presenting the primers of Islamic Sciences with attention given to Logic, Theology, Philosophy, Legal Theory and Jurisprudence will be held this summer.
The venue for this course will be Al Huda Islamic Centre (central to participants across the GTA), and will consist of twelve 90-minute sessions every Saturday beginning June 2nd with its conclusion on August 18th.
This brief, yet intensive summer course will seek to equip participants to better understand and appreciate the traditional perspective, by introducing them to some of the major topics within Islamic discourse and how they developed over the centuries. These sciences often form the foundations of Islamic thought, whose effects can then be seen on both a theoretical and practical level.
The course will be taught by seminarian Syed Ali Imran Naqvi. We hope that everyone can attend and maximize the benefits from this course.
Please note that the course is free of charge.
